54 artistes, chacun originaire des 54 Etats du continent africain sont attendus du 4 au 24 novembre 2015, au Théatre Chaillot, à Paris, pour présenter une oeuvre autour d’un thème : « l’Afrique des lumières ». L’événement organisé par African Artists for Development est un prélude à la Conférence des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques qui se tiendra à Paris du 30 novembre au 11 décembre 2015.

A l’heure où l’accès à l’énergie reste encore un gros problème dans la plupart des pays africains, les 54 artistes, vont nous livrer leurs visions et rêves à travers la photographie, la peinture et la sculpture. Un écran géant projettera les 54 messages des artistes, révèlant ainsi, la source intérieure de lumière qui leur a permis de réaliser leurs oeuvres.

54 artists, originated each one, from the 54 States of the African continent are expected at the Chaillot National Theater in Paris from 4th to 24th November 2015. They will submit an artwork under the theme of « Africa of lights ». The event organised by African Artists for Development is a prelude to the United Nations Conference on climate change that will be held in Paris from 30th September to 11th December 2015.

At a time when access to energy remains a major challenge in most of the African countries, the 54 artists, will set out their visions and dreams through photography, painting and sculpture. A giant screen will showcase the artists’ 54 messages, revealing, the inner source of light that has enabled them to realise their works.
