Quand le temps nous joue des tours, avec cette chaleur tantôt agréable ou tantôt insupportable, rien de mieux que d’aller se réfugier dans la fraîcheur des salles de cinéma et profiter de « Wallay » de Berni Goldblat actuellement à l’affiche depuis mercredi dernier.
Remarqué récemment à la Berlinale ou encore au Festival de Cannes, le film met en scène, Ady, un jeune franco-burkinabé de 13 ans, dont le père, dépassé par le comportement de l’adolescent, décide de l’envoyer chez son oncle au Burkina Faso afin de parfaire son éducation et de faire de lui un homme. Persuadé de partir en vacances Ady ne semble pas disposé à embrasser la voie de la sagesse…

The film that has drawn the attention of the Berlinale and the Festival of Cannes focuses on Ady, a 13-year-old French-Burkinabe, whose father, exceeded by the teenager’s behaviour, decides to send him to his uncle’s in Burkina Faso so that to further his education and have him become a man. Persuaded that he is going on vacation, Ady is not willing to embrace the path of wisdom…
